I really do enjoy working in this fluid medium of mixing tints, dyes, inks and acrylics with resin. Its very nature makes me plan well in advance for each project and demands that I adapt in the moment as I work. While I may have ideas of what I am trying to create, ultimately it seems that my creations have a better idea of what they wish to become than I do. This is what I believe breathes life into my art, a necessary adaptaion to the unplanned and a letting go of control. This approcah to the creative process makes every piece unique and impossible to reproduce. For me it is almost like unwrapping a present. I never know what I am going to get, but I am often surprised and delighted by the beauty that I find.
